Manchester United needed Ronaldo to rescue a win against Atalanta

The Champions League tie between Manchester United and Atalanta saw United’s extreme dependence on Cristiano Ronaldo. A problem United would have to deal with soon, the red devils once again needed a knight to win against Atalanta on Wednesday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would not admit to the problem but if they need a 36-year-old to rescue them what does it says about the team.

In the first half United was two down against Atalanta who saw goals from Mario Palasic and Merih Demiral to put them in the lead but United came in the first half and changed the momentum and made a comeback with Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire leveling the score and then came Ronaldo’s winner in the 95th minute repeating the Villarreal goal to cruise to a win.
