Manchester United opens about Phil Jones

Phil Jones, 29, has been out with a knee injury for over a year and has not played for United since January 2020. The defender has been with the club for almost a decade and is under contract until 2023. The English footballer has made significant contributions in his premier league career by making 200 appearances and several goals and assists too. Moreover, Solskjaer understands Jones' plight, having dealt with a knee injury near the end of his career that forced him to miss the entire 2004-05 season.

Besides, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Axel Tuanzebe will depart on loan, with Raphael Varane on the verge of joining Manchester United. In addition to this, Tuanzebe, 23, is prepared for a season-long loan, and Solskjaer has confirmed that fellow center-back Phil Jones is about to return to training.
