Manchester United set to sell Jesse Lingard

Manchester United had liberated themselves of Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer to Inter Milan on Thursday, saving up at least £400,000-a-week in wages. Now, they are ready to sell Jesse Lingard as well to raise additional fund purchases.

Moreover, the 27-year-old midfielder has been out of form for seven years.

The Guardian report states that "although the club has an option to extend this for a year, [United manager Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer is open to a sale should the right bid be lodged."

Formerly, Lingard has been associated with West Ham, Arsenal, Leicester, and various clubs in Serie A, including Inter Milan and Lazio
