Manchester United went through in Cup

Manchester United secured, on Saturday, qualification for the fifth round of the FA Cup, with a victory at the reception to Reading.

After a goalless first half, and with an accurate shot annulled by Rashford, the red devils jumped ahead of the scoreboard with two goals almost followed by Casemiro, in the 54th and 58th minutes.

Shortly afterwards, Carroll left Reading reduced to ten units after seeing the second yellow card, a move that preceded Manchester United's third goal in the game, this time by the Brazilian Fred (67 minutes), giving the best sequence to an assist from Bruno Fernandes.

The outsiders still reduced the accounts through Mbengue, in the 72nd minute, but they were not in time to emerge victorious from Old Trafford.

With this result, Manchester United moves on to the next stage of the FA Cup.
