Manchester United's young guns set for new deals

Striker Mason Greenwood penned new £25 000-per-week terms last month and the Red Devils now want to acknowledge more of their exciting academy graduates, having been handed their first-team break this season by Solskjaer.

It is understood young left-back Brandon Williams, who made his first Premier League start in Sunday's 3-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, has in recent days seen his weekly pay increased to around £10 000-per-week.

Williams, 19, was previously on £800-per-week and certainly had his manager singing his praises in the aftermath of the Seagulls' visit.

Solskjaer said: "He's (Williams) done nothing wrong since he's come in and making it hard for me (to leave him out), definitely. He's really, really impressed me. I have to say he's making it hard for me to leave him out".
