'Marca' RM go for Ancelotti and could soon make it official

'Marca' says that Real Madrid have gone for Carlo Ancelotti as the club's new coach after the deparure of Zinedine Zidane. The Everton coach won a Champions League (La Decima) in his first spell at the club. News of his appointment could be made official soon.

Real Madrid have chosen Carlo Ancelotti as their coach for the 2021-22 season. It is still not official, but 'Marca' says that the board are planning to announce it as soon as possible to be able to plan for next season. That would allow the new coach to form part of discusssions for next season's squad.

Ancelotti, who still has a contract at Everton, was thrown into the mix after a report on radio show 'El Larguero'. 'Marca' says that his return to the Santiago Bernabeu could be confirmed in the coming days.
