Marcelo Bielsa is coming back to lead Leeds United's first game in 16 years in the Premier League, he confirmed agreements are still underway
The 65-year-old’s deal expired at the end of 2019-20 but Leeds has been working on renewing the contract to bring back the most influential coaches in the game. The Argentinian released a statement he would be joining the Leeds trip to champions Liverpool even if the contract is still underway as it is just a formality at this stage.
Leeds would be motivated with Bielsa’s presence as they have a tough fight ahead of them with Liverpool who are unbeaten in the league since April 2017. Bielsa has made certain new additions to the roster as well with defender Robin Koch and forward Rodrigo Moreno.
