Marseille hopes to sign a Arsenal star soon

Marseille’s on-loan defender William Saliba has been an integral part of their defense this season making 25 Premier League appearances for the first team. At the young age of 20-year-old making, so many appearances for a big club is commendable, especially for a defender. OM wants the player permanently now but Gunners are reluctant to let the Frenchman leave Emirates Stadium as his level of potential exceeds expectations.

Both the parties though could negotiate down to a loan deal and Saliba would get the required game time. Gunners already have two young centre-backs to rely on with the likes of Ben White and Gabriel in the team, who have been exceptional for the team keeping 11 clean sheets this season beaten only by Manchester City and Liverpool.
