Marseille intends re-signing William Saliba

Even though he was signed way back in 2019 for an amount of £27million, Saliba is still yet to make his competitive debut for Arsenal. He has been on loans since then and recently had a gala time after winning the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year Award at Marseille. Moreover, he also made his place in the Didier Deschamps’ France team. Now, the player is back at Arsenal and has impressed the Premier League side with his amazing footwork. 

It looks like Marseille wants to re-sign the 21-year-old player for their side and they are very optimistic about the intention. The defender looks very solid at the back and seems like he can help his team to victory. Manager Mikel Arteta said that he is very pleased with the way the player has been playing, He is also impressed with the player's adaptability to the team.
