Marseille is targeting Arsenal duo Matteo Guendouzi and William Saliba this summer. The latter is expected to ink a loan deal with the club. Guendouzi has been placed on the surplus list by Mikel Arteta after an incident that involved Brighton’s Neal Maupay in June 2020. The Ligue 1 club could be the next destination in sight for Guendouzi. Saliba sent the second half of the last season on loan with Nice and hasn't yet made a debut in the first team by Arteta, it seems like it would stay that way for a while as he is being linked to a loan move to Marseille.
Saliba has been on Gunners' books since 2019 when he signed a deal for £27million arriving from Saint-Etienne. He then went on to spend the 2019-20 season on loan at ASSE with his impressive performance he cracked his way into Premier League but has been limited to U-23. Guendouzi on the other hand spent the last season on loan at Hertha Berlin, and in his 24 League appearances, he scored twice.
