Joao Felix won't be joining Mauricio Pochettino's team at Chelsea for the next campaign. Under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard, the Portuguese forward spent the second part of the season on loan at Stamford Bridge.
For Chelsea, the 23-year-old made a total of 20 appearances and scored four goals. He reportedly enjoyed living in London and wanted to stay through the end of his contract, according to football.london. Due to Pochettino's decision to pass on signing Felix, the former Benfica star will look for a fresh challenge outside of west London. The forward is now having fun in Ibiza, though. It's still unknown where Felix will wind up in season two. Along with other possible suitors in Europe, Newcastle has indicated an interest in his services ahead of their return to the Champions League.
