Mbappé proud of his 2022 goalscoring record

Kylian Mbappé, with 56 goals scored between performances for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, ended 2022 as the top scorer in European football and shared a post from the Champions League on Instagram highlighting these numbers.

Mbappé, who proclaimed himself world runner-up in Qatar 2022, had ten goals ahead of Norwegian Erling Haaland, who scored 46 with the last added Saturday between Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and their team.

With 42, Robert Lewandowski (Bayern/Barcelona and Poland) finished in third place, with 37 Mehdi Taremi (Porto and Iran) and Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig and France), and with 35 Leo Messi (PSG and Argentina), Ricardo Gomes ( Partizan), Harry Kane (Tottenham and England) and Karim Benzema (Real Madrid and France).

The Real Madrid captain was the top scorer in competitions organized by UEFA in 2022 with 12 goals, one more than Lewandowski, Mbappé and Gomes.
