Merih Demiral to stay within Juventus?

Everton is still desperate to sign the Juventus' Centre-Back Merih Demiral. Besides them, Liverpool and Tottenham have also been wanting to sign the Turkish footballer. Meanwhile, Juves’ new boss Max Allegri seems more inclined towards finding a long-term partner for Matthijs De Ligt and Demiral stands out of his sight.

The 23-year old couldn’t play up to the benchmark, as he suffered from a serious injury that made him miss out on Turin. Second-worst was when Andrea Pirlo kept him from playing during their last campaign. The Old Lady is reportedly interested in Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic as a substitute. They intend to use some of the funds collected for Demiral, whom they estimate to be worth €40 million, to purchase the Serbian star. Milenkovic's contract in Florence will expire in 2022.
