Merseille and Starsbourg draw up in Ligue 1

Marseille pushed a later leveler to salvage a draw against Strasbourg on Friday. Marseille drew up 1-1 and missed a chance to seal a Europa League spot in Ligue 1. Both the teams shared the spoils later on. When Striker Dario Benedetto came off the bench and pushed Luis Henrique's cross and pushed in a goal at 86th minute. Marseille dropped points with the draw but the one point did help them move level on point with Lens who sits fifth on the table.

Lens are ahead on goal difference and they would visit Paris Saint-Germain. Marseille missed the chance to get ahead when Florian Thauvin's corner at the 17th minute found Leonardo Balerdi, but the goal was saved by Matz Sels. Steve Mandanda on the other end saved against Dimitri Lienard but could not stop Stefan Mitrovic from scoring in the 74th minute.
