Messi’s fantastic bicycle kick steals the show at PSG title defence

Paris Saint-Germain kicked started their title defending campaign in style against Clermont. The 5-0 thumping alone gave an idea of PSG’s strength this season but the real head-turner came from Messi who scored the second goal through an overhead kick to leave everyone in awe.

Neymar kickstarted the match by grabbing the opener early on and later even set up Achraf Hakimi and Marquinhos for two more goals before the match reached halftime. Then Messi shined in the second half, he exchanged passes with Neymar and then sidefooted a goal with 10 minutes left on the clock. But he saved the best for the last with four minutes left on the clock, he controlled a Leandro Paredes pass on his chest and then converted the goal with an acrobatic overhead kick to leave the crowd shouting his praises.
