Mikel Arteta has been advised to try Nicolas Pepe in the central striker position instead of Alexandre Lacazette, who has only scored three goals in the Premier League this season. With Arsenal's striker options limited, the 30-year-old has only managed to score three goals in his 19 Premier League outings so far.
Of course, numbers aren't everything. Lacazette has been complimented for his tireless work rate and work off the ball several times, but there is still a lot of expectation on him to lead Arsenal to a top-four finish this season. With Eddie Nketiah as Mikel Arteta's only other natural striker option, the Spaniard may turn elsewhere in his squad in the coming weeks to try and lighten the strain on the Frenchman a little.
