Mikel Arteta is keen to bring on Brighton defender Ben White

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to seal the deal with Brighton defender Ben White this summer. The England international had a prolific season with Brighton this season and would continue to impress at Euro 2020 this month. He is being courted by big clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool and Arsenal would have to fight them to bring the £50million-rated centre-back to Emirates Stadium.

White would add more depth to Arsenal’s defense while for Red Devils White would definitely be an upgrade over Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly. Liverpool, on the other hand, are not as desperate as their rivals after they agreed to a deal with Ibrahima Konate, although after the injury-laden season hurt their chances of a title Jurgen Klopp might want to keep two new centre-backs in the squad.
