Milan wins over Benevento, climbs to 2nd in Serie A

Relegation struggling Benevento was defeated by AC Milan with a 2-0 win for the latter at the San Siro on Saturday in Serie A. After this victory, AC Milan has climbed up to the 2nd position in the Serie A title race. The head coach Stefano Pioli and his side were under pressure of winning after the successive defeats by Sassuolo and Lazio.

But, a goal in each half by Hakan Calhanoglu in the 6th minute and by Theo Hernandez at the hour mark, earned Milan their win against Benevento by 2-0. This improved the worsened crisis situation of the viewers and fans of AC Milan. After the match, Milan went up to the second spot with 69 points and is ahead of the rivals Atalanta (68 points), Napoli (66 points), and Juventus (66 points).
