Milan’s strategy for January transfer window

Both Paolo Maldini and Ivan Gazidis have issued a statement saying the Rossoneri has the budget to sign on new players. Last summer window was successful for them though they were unable to sign a new centre-back. The priority still stays the same.

The first choice they have is Shalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak, they could target him for €15m though the Bundesliga are looking at €20m. They could look at Takehiro Tomiyasu as well the Japanese defender is placed €25m price. Nikola Maksimovic, among the experienced players on the list, his contract is about to expire at Stadio San Paolo and he might be a free agent soon. Mohamed Simakan could also replace Wesley Fofana as a defender on the team. They could even target Luka Jovic and Emerson.
