Milinkovic December's best player

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been named Serie A’s Player of the Month for December.

Milinkovic-Savic played every minute of Lazio’s matches against Udinese, Juventus, Cagliari and Brescia last month, picking up a goal and an assist.

He also set up Luis Alberto to break the deadlock during the Aquile’s 3-1 Supercoppa victory over Juve.

The 24-year-old has scored four goals and assisted seven in total this season and was voted Serie A’s Midfielder of the Year for 2018-19.
