Mohamed Salah breaks silence on Liverpool contract situation

The 29-year-old has been in contract negotiations with the Reds for several months, with his current deal running until 2023.

Liverpool focused on retaining several of their star players this summer, but the club have so far failed to agree terms with the forward.

This led to Salah ’s agent, Ray Abbas Issa, posting not-so-cryptic messages aimed at the Liverpool hierarchy, as his client continues to stake his claim to be the world’s best player.

Salah has scored 12 goals in 11 games across all competitions this term, and the Egypt international has outlined his stance over his future with the Reds.

 “It does not depend with me. If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football [career], but I can't say much, it's not in my hands,” he told Sky Sports , ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
