Mohamed Simakan, PSG's option to reinforce the defence

PSG are looking for an improved defence and the board is scouring the market for a player who can perform well, but who also does not require a major investment.

According to 'L'Equipe', Mohamed Simakan has appeared on the French champions' agenda as one of the options to be discussed in the final stretch of the transfer window.

The 22-year-old has excelled at RB Leipzig and is also familiar with French football from his three seasons with Strasbourg.

As for his price, PSG would have to put on the table around 40 million euros, which is 20 million less than what is being asked for Skriniar.

Regarding Simakan's numbers, last season he played 41 games, 35 as a starter and was able to score one goal and give one assist. He was shown 11 yellow cards.
