Monaco adds Switzerland striker Embolo to the squad

French Ligue 1 side Monaco marked Swiss global striker Breel Embolo from Borussia Moenchengladbach on Friday. The 25-year-old Cameroon-based player kicked off his career at Basel, moved to Schalke in Germany for three seasons, and afterward joined another Bundesliga club, 'Gladbach, in 2019. Now the player moves to the Ligue 1 side. He has even played multiple times for Switzerland scoring nine goals. Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell shared "His profile complements our already strong attacking options and adds more depth to the squad.”

The arrangement is said to be made at 12.5 million euros and Embolo would be Monaco's second marking of the summer and would follow Liverpool’s 27-year-old Japanese International player Takumi Minamino who moved in June.
