Most sought after man Declan Rice on Chelsea’s radar

Thomas Tuchel is seeking West Ham midfielder Declan Rice this summer with the hopes to bolster their midfield before next season starts in August. Man Utd are also chasing the player this transfer season, but Rice might commit his future to West Ham again, who have qualified for the Europa League by finishing sixth in the 2020-21 season.

The 22-year-old played 32 times for Hammers and a knee injury forced him out of play in March but his impressive performance at the start of the season earned a lot of attention in the transfer season. Chelsea is more focused on signing a striker but keeps the England international in the list of potential targets. Rice is a product of their academy team where he played alongside Mason Mount before being released by the west Londoners at 14. Rice has even started all of England’s Euro 2020 matches so far, driving the interest of many clubs now.
