Napoli accept Callejon offer

Napoli have reportedly accepted Jose Callejon’s offer of extending his contract without taking a wage, as it was already spread as news throughout last week.

Callejon’s contract was due to expire on June 30, but the winger offered Napoli his services for free until the end of the season.

Calciomercato.it writes the Partenopei gave the green light to the proposal, so the Spaniard should be able to help them in Serie A and the Champions League.

The 33-year-old has played 34 times for the Coppa Italia holders this season, with two goals and nine assists.
