In preparation for their return to the Champions League the following season, Napoli is working swiftly to bolster their roster.
The Serie A leaders and Benfica midfielder Florentino are nearing a deal, according to Matteo Moretto (via Calciomercato.com). A five-year contract worth €2.5 million each season has reportedly been offered to the 25-year-old Portugal international. Although they have not yet shaken hands with Benfica, Napoli is optimistic that they will soon come to an arrangement with the player. Simultaneously, the Azzurri made an offer of €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Sudakov, a Shakhtar star. Additionally, Moretto affirms Napoli's interest in Jonathan David, a striker for Lille. Although the summer transfer window officially opens in July, it appears that Napoli is already quite busy negotiating transfers. According to multiple sources, the Partenopei are also negotiating with Kevin De Bruyne, a free agent whose contract with Manchester City expires in June.
