Napoli are ready to close a deal for Kalidou Koulibaly with Man City

Although it took 7 days to decide the future of the 29-year-old center-back, reports appear to be favouring the Manchester City’s quest of their top defensive target. No matter the claim surrounding the same, the probability is high that Koulibaly will end up in the Sky Blue of the Premier League side, despite the long wait for City fans. It has been confirmed that Napoli has agreed to sit down and close the deal. Since the tough negotiator, Aurelio De Laurentiis won’t be directly involved in talks between the two parties, it's going to be Napoli’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli who will be fronting the conversation. However, the consensus appears to have come too late for Napoli to sign their top replacement target.  Kaldor Koulibaly would be signed soon within a matter of days and the official confirmation from all parties can be expected soon.
