Napoli keep their Champions league hope alive by beating Lazio

Gennaro Gattuso’s side has declared war for the Champions League spot this season by putting five past Lazio in the Serie A match and they move within two points of Juventus who are fourth on the table currently. Lazio slumped to a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Napoli. Lorenzo first converted a penalty and put Napoli ahead later Matteo Politano pushed on past Pepe Reina with a shot from the edge of the box. Lazio stayed in control in the first half. In the second half, it was raining goals, Napoli scored once within eight minutes with Insigne’s right foot curler. Dries Mertens scored 12 minutes later but let the visitors then attempt a comeback with Ciro Immobile scoring one and thereafter Milinkovic-Savic also added his name to the scoresheet and Victor Osimhen scored the last goal for Napoli.
