Napoli wins the fight against Venezia FC

Napoli stays on track with their title fight as they face Venezia and wins by 2-0. Victor Osimhen was at the heart of Napoli’s fight for the Serie A title. Osimhen was handed his first start for the team since November and scored the goal that moved them closer to Inter in the race for the first place. Osimhen could just make two substitute appearances this season before suffering from a facial fracture during the clash with Inter.

Luciano Spalletti’s then picked Osimhen after he made a full recovery and was awarded with a goal before the hour mark at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo. Andrea Petagna then pushed the lead to two by grabbing the second goal. Napoli has one of their toughest encounters this week as they play Inter once more before travelling to Barcelona for the Europa League play-off match.
