Napoli's Ghoulam to have knee surgery

The Algeria international was subbed off in the first half of the Partenopei’s 3-1 win over Bologna on Sunday night with Napoli that announced the player sprained his left knee.

The exams underwent by Ghoulam at Rome’s Villa Stuart yesterday morning highlighted a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The 30-year-old had suffered two severe injuries at his right knee in the past seasons and Napoli have confirmed he underwent knee surgery in Rome yesterday.
