Neto bids farewell to Barça and lands for free at Bournemouth

Neto has a new team. The former Barcelona goalkeeper has become the latest big signing for AFC Bournemouth, who have now signed four new signings this summer after Joe Rothwell, Ryan Fredericks and Marcus Tavernier.

Despite the experienced Brazilian goalkeeper having one more year left on his contract with Barça (until 2023), his transfer to the English club has been completed on a free transfer, as the Premier League club have reported on their official website.

In addition, the Cherries have also announced the length of Neto's new contract, who will wear the number 13 shirt and will be linked to his new team until 30th June 2023, meaning he will play the entire 2022-23 season in the English Premier League.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper is one of the most prominent on the international scene, with experience in Serie A and in La Liga.
