Neuer in doubt for the World Cup

The German national team could lose a stalwart in goal. Manuel Neuer was absent for Bayern's Champions League matchday five game against Barcelona.

According to 'Bild', the goalkeeper was not at training this Thursday with the Munich-based side. Therefore, alarm bells have been ringing around whether he will be available for the World Cup.

The Germany keeper has been out since the game against Borussia Dortmund, when he conceded two goals in the second half, one of which was in the last minute, which gave way to crazy scenes in the Signal Iduna Park.

Since then, the Germany international has not played a single game for Nagelsmann. The Dutch coach has named Sven Ulrech in his place.
