Newcastle and their obsession with signing Asensio

Marco Asensio's future at Real Madrid remains uncertain and he has less than a year left on his contract. The Spanish attacker will be able to negotiate with any club from 1st January 2023 and his contract at Real Madrid expires on 30th June.

As a result of this situation, Real Madrid's plan is to sell him now and get some money for him rather than keeping him for a year and losing him on a free. Several teams are interested in getting the former Mallorca man, but one club is really obsessed with him.

According to 'AS', Newcastle have got their eyes on the winger and they are dreaming about counting on him. The latest offer from the Magpies for Asensio was 28 million euros, but it was turned down by a Madrid who are hoping to pocket 50 million.
