Newcastle United aiming for Benoit Badiashile

Newcastle United is reportedly keeping an eye on AS Monaco's Benoit Badiashile as they look for defensive reinforcements. Newcastle United is keeping an eye on AS Monaco's Benoit Badiashile's progress as they plan a January deal for the French center-back. In the summer of 2016, Badiashile joined the Monaco youth academy. At the age of 17, he made his debut for the first team in November 2018 under then-manager Thierry Henry.

He has progressively established himself as a fixture in the senior squad, having made 104 appearances so far, as well as a staple in the French Under-21 national team. Badiashile, a player with a lot of promise, has been associated with a number of high-profile clubs in the past, but nothing came of it. Wolves are said to be interested in the 20-year-old and have made an approach to sign him. Newcastle United has now emerged as a potential contender in the race to recruit the French defender.
