Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund eyeing for this one player

The Magpies and Borussia Dortmund are now in the running to capture a defender who Jose Mourinho has called a "high quality" prospect. De Telegraaf sources state that Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund are now in the lead in the fight to recruit Dean Huijsen, the defender for Roma. The 18-year-old, who is presently on loan from Juventus to Roma, has had a breakthrough season, making 12 appearances in Serie A.

Juventus is eager to hang onto the teenager over the summer, but there is a chance that Newcastle and Dortmund may seriously interfere with their plans. In order to comply with financial regulations, Juventus will probably need to let go of a few players this summer, and Huijsen may be one of them. Former Roma manager Jose Mourinho described the defender in January, calling Huijsen a "high quality" prospect.
