Newcastle United is ready to temporarily loan out Longstaff

Eddie Howe has confirmed the team is planning to finalize a new destination for Matty Longstaff for a temporary loan at least. Longstaff, the sibling of Sean, has connected up with Howe's first-group crew for pre-season in the wake of getting back from his loan spell at Mansfield Town, which participates in League Two.

The 22-year-old was not part of the United’s squad that faced Austria,1860 Munich, and Mainz 05 yet was given minutes versus Burnley. Longstaff yet could highlight against Benfica at the Estadio da Luz on Tuesday night but he is probably not going to be able to compel Howe to reconsider his decision. Currently, the 25-man Premier League crew of Newcastle United features Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton, Joe Willock, Jonjo Shelvey, and Sean Longstaff already. That is probably going to see Matty Longstaff join another club this late spring.
