Newcastle United have completed the signing of 19-year-old former West Ham United winger Amadou Diallo until the end of the 2022-23 season. The former England Under-17 international joins up with Newcastle’s Under-21s side after a successful trial with The Young Magpies. Diallo appeared in The Young Magpies’ Premier League 2 match against local rivals Middlesbrough earlier this month after being released from West Ham in the summer. The sixth teenage signing Newcastle have made so far this season is defender Alex Murphy, winger Jordan Hackett and striker Garang Kuol, who will join up with the club from A-League side Central Coast Mariners in January.
"Firstly, I want to say thank you to the club for giving me an opportunity to become a Newcastle player. I'm very delighted to be here and will be looking forward to playing and helping the team," remarked Diallo.
