Newcastle’s Defender Ciaran Clark continues his term with Newcastle by signing a two-year extension with the club. The Irish international had joined Newcastle in 2016 after moving from Aston Villa and has become one of the central pieces for Steve Bruce’s line up. The 31-year-old returned from a very lengthy lay-off in November because of an injury. So far for the Magpies he has made 103 appearances and scored 11 goals for them and secured his future with the team.
His contract was expiring at the end of the season and later shared that he is delighted to have signed with the club so is the head coach, Newcastle is one a nine-run winless run across competitions despite having a talented defender on their side.
