Competing in England’s top-tier Premier League is not an easy task and Norwich City understands that very well. After winning the 2020–21 EFL Championship title they would be competing with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City when the 2021-22 season kicks off. To prepare for the big battles to come, the Canaries have inked a deal with the highly-rated Greek side PAOK’s winger Christos Tzolis.
The 19-year-old was linked to Red Devils and Dortmund but in the end, would be seen at Carrow Road for the next five years. In his last campaign in Greece, Tzolis netted 16 goals and 10 assists across the competition and helped PAOK finish as runner-ups in the Greek Super League. He even holds experience in the Champions League and Europa League and has played for the Greek national team. The Canaries also have one more former PAOK player, Dimitris Giannoulis who joined the team this summer permanently.
