Nine goals in August earn Haaland Player of the Month award

The Premier League announced, on Friday, the election of Erling Haaland as the best player of the month in the competition.

The Norwegian forward scored nine goals last August, with two hat-tricks in the final stretch, against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

In addition, the Manchester City striker scored a double against West Ham, contributed a goal in the triumph against Newcastle and even assisted in a game against Bournemouth.

Note also the fact that Haaland was a starter in all the team's games.
