Man City player Kevin de Bruyne suffered a double fracture during Man City's 0-1 loss to Chelsea in the Champions League final. The Belgian revealed that he has a fractured nose and a left orbital fracture.
He sustained a nasty looking eye injury after a colliision with Antonio Rudiger which saw the German's shoulder catch the Belgian in the face. De Bruyne was left with a black eye and had to be replaced straight away.
The Belgian has now left hospital and has confirmed that he has suffered a fracture to both his nose and his left eye socket. "Hi guys just got back from the hospital. My diagnosis is Acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture. I feel okay now. Still disappointed about obviously but we will be back," De Bruyne wrote on Twitter.
