Nottingham Forest completed their fourth signing

Defender Moussa Niakhaté leaves behind Mainz 05 and becomes the fourth new player to be added to Nottingham Forest’s squad this summer. Left-sided centre-back joined the German side, signing a three-year contract, a one-year extension option as well with the team which was worth €10m (£8.5m) plus add-ons of €5m (£4.2m).

The 26-year-old then made 128 outings for the side ever since he joined the side from Metz in 2018 and helped the side to an eighth-place finish last season while fulfilling the role of a captain. Niakhaté shared it has been his dream to play for an England club, and be part of the Premier League which is regarded as the best league in the world. The player would be seen in action with Nottingham Forest now.
