OFFICIAL: Madrid renew Nacho until 2023

After a season in which he filled in for Sergio Ramos and Varane to perfection alongside Militao under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane, he looks set to be a very useful asset in Carlo Ancelotti's plans.

Real Madrid ensures the continuity of one of its hard-working players. Nacho Fernández has officially renewed his contract with 'Los Blancos' until the end of the 2022-23 season, in other words, for two years. The defender has spent his whole life in white, in a role that is not always been spectacular, but always essential.

The 2020-21 campaign was a time when there were strong arguments in favour of this reality.

With Carlo Ancelotti now in charge, the Spaniard, who already knows him from his first period - that of the 'Tenth' - at the Santiago Bernabeu, will have the stability to fight for an important position under his command.
