OFFICIAL: Pedri renews at Barca until 2026

Barcelona have completed the renewal of one of their biggest players. Barcelona made official this Thursday the renewal of Pedri Gonzalez, who will be at the club until at least 2026.

With a buyout clause of a billion euros, Pedri becomes the footballer with the largest buyout clause at Barca.

Pedri arrived at Barcelona just a year ago. Although it is true that he was signed in 2019, Barcelona loaned him out to Las Palmas for another season.

The 2020-21 season was the season the man from the Canary Islands burst onto the scene. Pedri has become an indispensable player for Ronald Koeman, who is missing him because of his injury.

He has played in all competitions, including the European Under 21 Championships, the senior team and the Olympic Games. He is also among the 30 finalists for the Ballon d'Or.
