Olympiacos' 1-0 victory over Porto

Olympiacos' 1-0 victory over Porto at Estádio do Dragão dealt a serious blow to the team's hopes of qualifying for the Europa League.

A defensive blunder in the 79th minute saw Ayoub El Kaabi drive the ball into the bottom corner as the Dragons, who had failed to produce clear-cut opportunities, paid the price. In the last minute of normal time, Fábio Vieira came very close to tying the score, but it was only the second attempt on goal from a team that can't be upset about the loss. Losing four straight games is nearly unthinkable for Porto, as it hasn't happened since 1964. The Dragons now sit outside the play-off positions, their final group phase match coming in Belgrade next week when they face Maccabi Tel Aviv without the suspended Nehuen Pérez and Samu.
