Brazil midfielder Gerson spilled past Andreaw Gravillon to fire home a low strike in the 83rd moment after Marseille had battled against Reims for a large part of the match to maintain control. Reims almost scored in the 37th past the Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda however Luan Peres cleared Mitchell Van Bergen's heaved endeavor off the line.
