When Kylian Mbappe entered the game as a substitute and sprinted toward a goal, he should have equalized but shot wildly over the crossbar. The loss keeps PSG three points ahead of Lens in second place, who defeated Auxerre 1-0 on Saturday. Rennes earned their victory because they produced better opportunities and played tough defence against PSG's late equalizer attempts.
