Premier League: Blues lost 2-1 to Wolves

Pedro Neto of Wolverhampton scored the late winner in the stoppage time to hand Chelsea their second loss in four days in the Premier League as Wolves won the match by 2-1. Blues had recently faced a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Everton and were looking to make up for the loss at Molineux, but failed to finish first on the table.

Chelsea had taken an early lead with Olivier Giroud scoring for them in the 49th minute but Wolves Daniel Podence later scored for their side in the 66th minute to level the score. While Chelsea was on a 17-match unbeaten run before Everton looks like they are on a downwards spiral when Neto scored by firing the ball low in the bottom corner past goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Even though Christian Pulisic returned to the field Blues still lacked creativity without Hakim Ziyech.
