Raheem Sterling open to a move outside Etihad stadium

Manchester City’s competitive squad has forced Raheem Sterling to consider a move away from Etihad stadium. The 26-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of next season but so far he has not been handed out a full-time role at Manchester City. Sterling started many games for England this summer in their miracle run to the European Championship final.

Still, under Pep Guardiola his role has been quite limited in the Premier League. While both the parties were interested in an extension but the talks have been put on hold for now, as Sterling wants more playtime. This season Sterling started four of the eleven City’s games, and last season also he had a similar run that saw more time on the bench rather than the field.
