Raheem Sterling scored for City at the start and seal the win over Arsenal

Pep Guardiola's side registers their 18th win with Raheem Sterling's opening goal at the start of the match and City extending their winning run. Arsenal later could not muster the strength to score even once against City as they guarded their goal well to end the match 1-0 at Emirates Stadium.  Arsenal were though quite serious on the ground and help City back from score even more with Bukayo Saka being a menace on the field.

City also missed out on the chance to make it two in the 81st minute with Joao Cancelo going wide but sealed their 10 point lead at the top and United and Leicester climbed in closer after beating Newcastle and Aston Villa. This was the 10th clean sheet maintained by City in their last 13 matches in Premier League and did not give Arsenal the chance to climb ahead and stay firm on the 10th spot.
